Symptoms of swine flu and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome or SARS are utmost the same. Both SARS and flu first signs of symptoms are acute fever and respiratory problems. There are also sudden attacks of fever which sometimes can be very high, from 39 to 40 degrees Celsius. Symptoms like coughs, sore throats, headaches, and general aches and pains. Also it has reported that people have diarrhea and vomiting associated with swine flu. But when it comes to numbers flu is more serious and dangerous than SARS.
In the past, severe illness (pneumonia and respiratory failure) and deaths have been reported with swine flu infection in people. World Health Organization (WHO) said that the symptoms of swine flu are similar to seasonal influenza. Mild cases may have escaped from recognition; therefore the true extent of this disease among humans is unknown.
